Work Performed:
Chimney Cleaning

We used extension ladders and roof belay to access the exterior masonry of the chimneys throughout the community. Once our technicians were in position on top of the building’s roof, we applied a concentrated mildewcide solution to all chimney bricks. We then employed high pressure 40-tip cleaning to remove all mildew, algae, and lichen from the chimneys. Safety was a big concern on this project due to the nature of applying water and solution while positioned on the roof of the residential buildings. We utilized belay safety techniques and worked in tandem with two technicians, one holding the belay line and the other pressure washing.
