Parking Deck Cleaning

We were contacted by Barringer Construction to complete a cleaning of the exterior facades of a parking deck in downtown Raleigh in a short turnaround window. We coordinated the rental of an 80’ foot boom lift, a scissor lift, partial lane closures, and sidewalk and parking blocked off by the city of Raleigh. There were several areas where the crew chemically treated rust staining on the deck. What was originally scheduled as a three day project was extended by client request/change order to add the south facing facade. The crew worked through challenging weather and situational time constraints to respect tenant businesses to complete the deck cleaning on schedule. We provided a daily schedule to the General Contractor and Highwoods Properties to block off parking and roads on the applicable side of the building for work each day. The work was done in a total of 5 days.
